Private Yoga Lesson
The choreography of these classes have been specifically designed to help bring alignment, softness and strength to students. Classes are available in French or English. In person or via Zoom.
The Individual lesson is a 65 minute class. We will do a wellness check and assess past and present health issues. From there your personalized yoga routine will be created. Your lesson will be written down for you to keep.
Group Lesson available for 2-4 students. Add 25€ for each student after 4 people.
About Kelly Hart: I'm originally from Ojai, California. I attended Krishnamurti’s Oak grove school, and later continued my education at Krishnamurti's Brockwood park school in England, and University in New Mexico. I studied classical ballet with Mara Lysova founder of the Channel Islands Ballet Company. As well as summer trainings with the Peninsula Dance Company at Thatcher School.
I started practicing lyengar yoga in 1995 with Suza Francina and after an accident in 1997 | was able to help my recovery with lyengar yoga, pilates and feldenchrist with my teachers, Mary Jo Healy and Ingrid Boulting.
In 2001 I became interested in insight meditation and participated in the first of many vipassana retreats with dear friends and teachers Michele McDonald and Steven Smith, co-founders of Vipassana Hawaii. I was greatly influenced by the teachings of Thich Naht Hanh and my time learning from Rashani Rhea at her Dharma Sanctuary in Hawaii.In 2004 I traveled to India, Thailand and Burma, where I studied ashtanga, mysore yoga and vipassana.
In 2005 I moved to the south of France to raise my two sons, and have spent many summers at Thich Naht Hanh's plum village.
In 2014 I completed a 4 year yoga therapy training in France, where I was certified with the Institute Français du Yoga and European Union of yoga.
I am a student of Bernard Bouanchaud and Nathalie Moulis direct students of T.K.V Desikachar, son of Sri Krishnamacharya. I have a deep interest in psychology and health. I studied herbalism with the East West School of Herbalism incorporating western herbs, Ayurveda and Chinese medicine.
I specialize in chronic illness, injuries and breath work. My classes are meant to be a place to welcome your body, however it is with presence.
